Holding onto Hope (Publicity, San Luis Obispo CA)

Photobucket
Holding Onto Hope started four years ago when a couple friends got together just to play music. Although the members have changed dramatically throughout the years, the band name has stood the test of time. Matt, Cory (members for Briertone) and Josh are the current faces of Holding onto Hope. The music captures the energy and creativity of a post hardcore generation. Finally after 2 years, Holding onto Hope is releasing an EP late this January. Click here for more details.

DAMSEL© Magazine (Published)

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Melanie Renee, a local clothing designer and close friend came to me a couple weeks ago wanting to put together an ad for an up and coming magazine DAMSEL©. After a quick brainstorm of some ideas, the decision was made to go with a photo of Cece Kovalcheck from the Melanie Renee catalog shoot. The hair and make up was done by a salon here in San Luis Obispo; Reveal Salon!!! Brook and her team did an amazing job. DAMSEL© magazine is based in Orange County, and specializes in fashion, culture, beauty, and a bit about music. The December issue has an awesome write up about Norwegian singer-songwriter Sondre Lerche. Click here to listen to his music. Aside from good taste in music, DAMSEL© offers women in there twenty-somethings an opportunity to discover amazing boutiques, mind and body awareness, and awesome artists.

Crystal and Jusden (Engagement, Hayward CA)

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Jusden introduced me to Salad Fingers, a creepy cartoon online. "ello. I like rusty spoon." weird stuff. Changed my life. Anywho, this shoot rocked! We ventured in to the mountains surrounding San Francisco to find a peaceful, tranquil environment to do an engagement session. Crystal makes me laugh. They are so awesome together, Jusden was whispering Family Guy quotes to her the entire time.
After coming down the mountain, we headed in to Pleasanton to eat at a pizza joint called the "Gay 90s" Amazing! I was hesitant at first, but it was one of the best pizza's I ever had. So anywho, it was a great trip, and I had a wonderful time getting to know Crystal and Jusden a bit more.
