Reveal Salon (Fashion, SLO CA)
Brook Jones is Amazing! She has magic hands when it comes to hair and make up! Its magic, magic, magic!
So yeah, we sat down about a month ago at ol'l uptown expresso, and talked about doing a really rad photo shoot. We both brought our sketch books and brain stormed for like 3 hours. We finally came up with something 'wicked' (Brook loves that word, its rubbing off on me now) and unique to do for our shoot. Newspapers! yes, its perfect. It's a really creative way to show off hair and make up, with out being dorky or look like we're trying too hard.
So Brook had a few friends from the cuesta fashion department create us some sick dresses. Thanks to Jenn, and her whole fashion crew. (Sorry I'm bad with names) But you guys are crazy! Its paper, not fabric its not suppose to be able to do all that. You guys are going to rock it with cloths. I met some ridiculously awesome people. Cece, one of the models, knows a lot about wine. Pretty cool. Alex, the insanely tall girl, I went to school with since Jr. High. It was really cool to catch up, and get to know her better. And then Melanie, she's super cool. I'm actually shooting her wedding next week, and if it wasn't for this reveal shoot, we would have never met. Wow. I suck at putting together proper sentences. Anywho, the shoot came out better than hoped for. Heres a few of my favorites:

My Brother came with to help carry stuff and set up the newspaper background. Our male model couldn't make it, so we improvised... The jacket was a little short, but when you've got a crew, they'll MAKE it work. Besides all they had to do was tape on a little paper on the sleeves. Newspaper atire is the best. We should all wear newspaper from now on. Except rainy days, that could be bad news bears. Thanks Cam for the GQ looks.

Danica brought her bird Frankenstein, to hang out for the day, and he somehow got to be a little model too. Cozy little guy.

Models love pizza!
