Matt & Jeanette (Wedding, Paso Robles CA)

Paso Robles held true with the warm weather. When Jeanette, Matt and I sat down in November last year to talk about their wedding, it was hard to image the sun going down at 8pm, and it being warmer than 60˚. Yet, here it is... April 28th came up quick. The weather in the vineyard was amazing just like we hoped for. The reception took place at Meridian vineyards in the "barrel room" It was my first experiance with the "barrel room" and I was slightly overwhelmed with all the great photo oppertunities. The atmosphere was AWESOME! Everything was so well thought out and timely. Great job Jeanette! I know she paid attention to every last detail, and it paid off for her. It was beautiful indeed. Anywho, enough reading, heres a few shots from this memorible day in Paso:

Thomas & Jana (Engagements SLO CA)

I love shooting engagement photos. I have such a great time getting to know my couples and hanging out in some cool spots.
Sunday I hung out with Jana and Thomas here in slo. Their wedding is at the end of the month. The shoot was short, but sweet. This area has so many awesome photo spots that are all with in walking distance. Than the following day, Danielle and Tim took me to a spot Danielle scoped out in Los Osos. Once again, (sounding like a broken record) AMAZING! This area is abundant with beauty and coolness. Here's a few to check out. Oh yeah, I borrowed Cam's 85mm that day, I want one! Thanks Cammy.

Anthony & Erin (Engagements, CA)

Erin and Anthony drove down for the weekend from the Bay area. Originally we wanted to go and hang out around Avila/Shell Beach, but being a saturday it was super crazy and crowed. We ended up going toward Guadalupe area. It was a beautiful day, and cozy walk to the beach. Surrounded by amazing wildlife, we found plenty of amazing spots to shoot.

55 Days and Counting

My friend Cassandra is moving to San Francisco in 55 days (according to her myspace count down, she really likes count down things check out her page) She's going to be attending the SF University studing.....um..... reading and writing? I don't know something super important I'm sure because she's amazing, and really determinded to get the most out of life. I'm really going to miss her. As the last day draws closer, the busier and crazier she gets, so we had to take advantage of the oppertunity to hang out. We had a quick couple hours to shoot. These were completely for fun, and it was fun.

Chris & Brea (Engagements, Avila Beach CA)

We started out the day at Avila Beach, which when we got there we decided that it was much to windy and crowed. We wondered a bit till we decided to shoot in a more secluded area. We spotted the perfect place from the road, we all knew at the same moment that it was going to be the spot. This field of yellow flowers made the perfect backdrop for our hang out. Chris and I have been friends for quite a long time, but I've know Brea even longer. Brea and I had a class together, so it really cool to see that she's going to marry the love of her life from high school. Their relationship is amazing. It was a honer to be able to capture this moment for them.

My brother Cameron did a little shooting as well. He took the above image. Not bad. Not bad at all.

Brea insisted on just a few photos at the beach, so we headed to port San Luis which was close by. Chirs is a surf photographer, who has had his work published in almost every surf magazine out there it seems like. He won the first annual follow the light surf photography award in October of last year. View the artical here.
His work can be seen in Transworld Surf and Waveriders Gallery. He's been working on a personal project these past few months called the California Book Project. (sorry about so many links in one place, I'm just really excited about what he's been up to)
