Silverlake
What a week! A week of no food, no sleep, and the same change of cloths. Why? Easy: BRIERTONE!

So a good friend of mine, Cory O. (the drummer of briertone) invited me to ride down to Hollywood with him in the Briertone van. As skeptical as I was, it was really a comfy ride. Briertone was playing at Jonny Depp's club the Viper Room. Quite an experiance: the sound, the lights, the music, and best of all the characters on sunset blvd.

The ride down wasn't bad thanks to Amy playing the twelve string. Matt the driver for the day, and the bass player in the band, did a fine job parallel parking the van and trailor. Quite impressive. We arrived to the venue a few hours early, and decided to follow Amy's lead and attempt to get on a tall building to see the sunset strip from a bird's eye view. A few angry hotel employee's later, we gave up. Briertone put on a solid proformance.

A couple of nights later, they made an apperance in a sketchier part of town, silverlake. The show took place in a bar refered to as the silverlake lounge. It was a cozy setting for the band. Small stage tucked away in the back of the bar under a series of lights spelling out the word "salvation" created a very intimate enviroment for the crowd. Adam Passion is very "passionate" as a friend said, and indeed he was. A song entitled "Awake" gave everyone goose bumps.

After everything was packed away in the van, it was time for a photo session! Crazy kids.
